Belwood Homes is a new community built on a piece of land with deep local roots. For years, the property was home to a small ranch and horse farm, set on just over three acres. The previous owner cared for the land and ran it as a farm, but as time went on and they got older, they made the decision to sell.
We saw the potential in the property—not just for development, but to create something special that respected its history. We subdivided the land into six generous lots and designed each home with a modern farmhouse style, adding contemporary details while nodding to the character of the original ranch.
Each home in Belwood is built with care and purpose. You’ll find high-end finishes, thoughtful layouts, and a focus on quality throughout—from custom cabinetry and wide-plank flooring to designer lighting and curated tile work. The attention to detail is what sets these homes apart. Belwood isn’t just another development—it’s a small, private community where every home tells a story.
Eric Weins has been building homes and residential projects across Colorado’s Front Range for over 20 years. With a deep commitment to quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design, Eric has earned a reputation for creating homes that stand the test of time. Belwood Homes is one of his most meaningful projects to date—one that brought together his experience, vision, and passion for building community.
This wasn’t a simple infill project. Eric took on the challenge of transforming a former horse farm and ranch property into something entirely new, while honoring the character of the land. He was integral in every step—from opening a brand-new street to installing all the necessary infrastructure—essentially building a neighborhood from the ground up.

Andy Olree of Design Edge Architecture has been shaping residential architecture in the Denver area for nearly two decades. Known for his thoughtful approach and meticulous attention to detail, Andy was a key partner in bringing the vision for Belwood Homes to life.
Working closely with developer Eric Weins, Andy helped design a collection of homes that feel both modern and rooted in the history of the land. Each residence reflects a balance of clean, contemporary design and the charm of a classic farmhouse—paying homage to the property’s past as a working ranch.
Through intentional design choices and a deep understanding of the site’s character, Andy curated homes that are truly unique. His work played a major role in creating a neighborhood that feels timeless, cohesive, and connected to its story.
